(Started in June 2021) This is a little field recording project for fun. I've visited a couple of open coal mines and recorded their sounds from nearby natural sites. The mines do not only change the visual character of the landscape and social relationships of the surrounding regions. Obviously, they are also quite perceivable in sonic landscapes. Let's see how this will change in the coming years.
